(CNN)That is how Raven Symoné marries in secret.
On her checked Instagram page Thursday, the 34-year-old actress and former co-host on “The View” revealed that she is married girlfriend Miranda Maday.
A picture of the embracing happy couple served as a wedding announcement to them.

“I got married to a woman who understands me from trigger to joy, from breakfast to midnight snack, from stage to home,” the actress wrote in the caption. “I love you Mrs. Pearman-Maday!”
The full name for the former child star is Raven Symoné Christina Pearman.
She also shared a video of what appears to be the yard outside the home where the photograph of the wedding was taken.

“Thank you to all those who helped and for those who understand why it was small during this time,” she wrote on that picture in the caption where she tagged several people, including Debbie Allen.
Renowned for her childhood roles on “The Cosby Show” and “That’s So Raven,” as well as the current “Raven’s Home,” reboot, she publicly addressed her sexuality in 2013, following the US. The Supreme Court reversed a statute that prohibited federal approval of same-sex marriage.
“I can finally get married! Yay government! So proud of you,” she tweeted back then.
In an interview in 2014, she told Oprah Winfrey that she was convinced of her identity when she was 12 years old when “I was looking at everything.”
“I don’t want to be labeled gay,” Winfrey told me. “I want to be labeled a human who loves humans.”
